This was one of the biggest projects I’ve ever led, taking almost a full year to complete.
I collaborated closely with Innogy (formerly RWE) during their rebranding, designing a website that reflects their future vision while delivering an intuitive and satisfying experience for visitors.
As the lead UX designer, I focused on creating a modular design system that stayed consistent across multiple Innogy websites (like Innogy24 and Kariera.innogy.cz).
More importantly, I began by analyzing what didn’t work in the previous experience and aimed to strike a balance between clear business goals and user comfort.
To achieve this, I restructured the information architecture, developed over 50 page templates, designed reusable components, and created an innovative energy calculator to attract new customers. I conducted user testing, collected feedback through online forms, and collaborated with Innogy’s team throughout to ensure we met their high standards.
The results speak for themselves: within three months of launch, completion rates for the energy calculator increased by 350%.
Key Takeaway: This project taught me the importance of balancing business goals with genuine customer empathy — and that even complex, information-heavy services can feel simple and intuitive when user needs come first in the design process.

Printscreen approached us with an idea: a mobile-first website that allows users to upload their favorite photos and use a simple online editor to get them printed on canvas just the way they like it.
We accepted the challenge and created Printscreen.cz, an online printing editor that has won three awards for its intuitive design and simplicity.
Our main goal was to create a website that anyone can use, where the whole process is fast but still robust enough to allow all the edits that users would expect from such service , and they can order their prints whether they're on a tram or waiting for a train. We streamlined each step to provide only the necessary information, without overwhelming users with unnecessary details that often plague online platforms.

Signal Festival, Prague’s famous light and digital art festival, decided to experiment with augmented reality (AR) for the first time. My team and I were excited to bring this new dimension to life in collaboration with renowned Czech artists like Jan Kaláb.
My Role
As the UX designer, I led the design of the mobile AR experience. I started with research and competitor benchmarking to clarify the scope and best practices. Then, I sketched early concepts on paper and tested layout ideas to find the smoothest flow.
Key UX Challenges
Enhancing the Experience
To make the AR moments more immersive, each piece included sound and music. I designed cues to let users know when to wear headphones — while also reminding them to stay aware of their surroundings for safety.
The scanning process was also improved with subtle sound feedback during marker detection, making it clearer that the app was calibrating the 3D scene.
Outcome
The AR pilot launched as a massive success: over 5,000 visitors have experienced Signal AR so far, with numbers still growing.
Key Takeaway
This project taught me how to balance cutting-edge technology with clear onboarding, safety considerations, and real-world technical edge cases. It was an inspiring collaboration that opened up new ways for people to engage with art in public spaces.

They commissioned a mobile app for both iOS and Android that would provide real-time energy consumption data, billing information, and smart insights — with more features planned for future updates.
My Role
As the UX Designer, I was responsible for ensuring that the app balanced complex data with a clean, intuitive interface. My goal was to make the experience feel simple and empowering, even for users unfamiliar with energy monitoring tools.
Process Highlights
Impact
Since launch, the app has attracted around 78,000 active users who now have better visibility of their energy use and costs — helping them make smarter choices every day.
Key Takeaway
This project showed me the value of turning complex data into an experience that feels clear and motivating — and the importance of designing for both visual clarity and long-term feature scalability.
App's rating (October 2019):
4,6/5 ⭐ on Google Play
4,5/5 ⭐ on Apple Store
It also won 3rd place in the EFFIE awards in 2018.

Looking back
Even though this was by no means an easy project, I am glad that I had the chance to be part of it as it helped me to develop both my design and soft skills like how to more effectively communicate within my team and with the client to reach a decision that benefits both parties while moving the project forward towards its successful future.
I designed a web application as a mobile-first design for wine tasting as an internal project for Wunderman Thompson.
It was a fascinating project that posed unique challenges. Unlike designing a classic mobile app, I had to keep in mind loading speed, the amount of content displayed at once, and potential issues that could arise when loading content on mobile browsers.
Here you can visit my wireframe concepts.
When the project was finished, I even got a wine bottle, nice!

A very interesting project indeed.
I got a task from VZP that they want to launch a campaign to make people walk more.
Why?
Because it’s healthy of course!
And they need more customers.
Anyways, the idea behind the project was, that this will be a web app where the users will check-in in on certain tourist locations spread across the Czech Republic (using GPS).
And if they visit a certain number of these locations during the competition’s duration, they are in the draw and can compete.
The biggest challenge
There were many use cases to keep in mind.
For example what if the user is near the location but like a 100 meters off?
How do we let him know to move closer?
Together with a colleague of mine we have come up with the idea of a single button that would let the user check in, and if he was not on the spot, it would use the GPS to check for closest locations, and if a certain criteria was met, it would say:
A tourist spot is only XY km away, go visit it!
And there was also a map with all the locations of the spots and with the GPS the user could see where he is and how close is his set target.
The result?
The campaign was a great success.
More than 4000 people have joined the competition over the next 60 days.
